Day in the life of a student leader - What does your day look like when you're not on a YFAB meeting/event?

Hello hello hello, my day as a student leader is jam-packed! Outside of YFAB, I operate the club I created at my school, participate in Varsity lacrosse and lead my JV comrades as a captain, cheer for my school’s varsity basketball team, compete in front of judges for cheer competitions, and brainstorm a collaborative space for students and teachers to elaborate on topics they find interest in in the news media- a new club I’m developing for next year! Also being part of other boards outside of YFAB, I plan my schedule to help give feedback, create solutions, and combat major issues surrounding teens abusing drugs, struggling with behavioral issues, and supporting a health lifestyle! Beyond that, I also provide help at my local food bank, packing food for the less fortunate. I support the college students at my Mom’s college with events and fun activities. Also, signing up for events presented by our adult advisor (Ms. Maria) to support my community! And, of course planning for and attending YFAB meetings.
